Ronda Wilcox, 66, of Tawas City

Ronda J. Wilcox, of Tawas City, a former resident of Lapeer, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2024 at her home under the loving care of her family and hospice, age 66 years.  Ronda was born in Goodrich, Michigan on April 4, 1957 to the late Ronald and Beverly (Vallad) Betts.  She graduated with the class of 1975 from Clarkston High School and later went on to work during her career in the retail profession.  Ronda absolutely adored spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.  She enjoyed playing Bingo as well!  Her beautiful legacy will always be kept alive with everyone who had the privilege to know and love her!  Ronda is survived by her husband and best friend, Terry Wilcox Sr., to whom she married on September 4, 1981. Together the couple shared 42 wonderful years of marriage!  Ronda is also survived by her children, Terry (Tracy) Wilcox Jr. of Lapeer, Jeremy (Jessica) Wilcox of Oscoda, Rhonda (Jack) Putnam of Dedford, and April (Tim) Busch of Chesterfield; 2 brothers, Ronnie Betts and Tommy (Jodee) Betts, both of Oscoda; 3 sisters, Joanne McDermott of Oscoda, Margaret Forshee of Lansing, and Mary (Tom) Bell of Oscoda; 10 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Ronda is preceded in death by her parents Ronald and Beverly Betts, and a great grandson, Jase Hyde.
