Roger Lee Apps, age 53, of Roscommon, died on Monday, February 19, 2024, at his home. Roger fought a long battle with pancreatic cancer and died in the presence and comfort of his family.
Roger was born February 14, 1971, in Grayling, Michigan, the son of Richard Mary (DeVoe) Apps.
Roger loved camping, joyriding the trails, collecting many Chevy items, and tinkering around the garage fixing things. Roger worked for many people in this community, doing several jobs for many years.
Roger will be remembered by his family and friends as being a hard worker, always lending a helping hand with his many talents, and for having a heart of gold.
Roger will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Weidlich of Roscommon, Tammy Apps of Houghton Lake, and Judy Apps of Houghton Lake; brothers Doug (Salve) Apps of Roscommon, Terry Flicker of Roscommon, and Fred Apps of Houghton Lake, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Brian Apps and Richard Flicker.
Roger’s family has chosen to remember him privately at this time.
