Larry Mansfield, 79, of Gladwin

Larry Mansfield, 79, of Gladwin passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones on February 24, 2024. Larry was born on July 15, 1944 in Gladwin to Russ and Dusty (Fritz) Mansfield. After graduating from Gladwin High School he joined the U.S. Navy, serving on the U.S.S. Forrestal. He married Becky Williams in 1973 in Gladwin. During his lifetime Larry enjoyed Boy Scouts, hunting, camping and golfing. He was an active member of the Gladwin Free Methodist Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife; 4 sons: David (Lyndlee), Jason (Kristin Wanttaja), Scott (Debby), and Steven; brother: Jeff; sister: Susan (Linda Stodolak); along with many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Jerry and Thomas; and sister: Janice.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at Gladwin Free Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial Contributions may be made according to MyMichigan Hospice. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home.
