Frank Keathley

Frank James Keathley, age 88, passed away at home surrounded by his family on December 18, 2023. He was born to Jim and Eunice Keathley on August 8, 1935, in Pikeville, KY. As many young men of his generation, Frank left school at an early age to go work. He was employed by Great Lakes Steel for 33 years, retiring as a blast furnace foreman. He married Gail Blevins on July 13, 1985, in Ecorse, MI. Frank was a true fisherman, whether on his boat fishing the Au Sable River or parked on the ice in his favorite bay. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed helping his neighbors. Frank is survived by his wife Gail, his children; Darrell Keathley, Doug (Lori) Keathley, and Tim (Faith) Keathley, his brother Dan (Diane) Keathley, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife Kathleen, son Paul Keathley, brother Elmer, and sister Dorothy. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place.
