Dolores A. Ruth, age 89 of Hale, MI., passed away peacefully in her home on December, 19, 2023. Dolores was born to the late Andres and Estella Apigo on October 5, 1934. She was born and raised in Detroit, the oldest of seven siblings.
Following graduation from high school, Dolores went on to meet and then marry, the love of her life, Robert F. Ruth on May 11, 1953. They embarked together on an adventure of a life time. She was blessed with thirteen children and a strong faith in God and the Catholic Church that she was a devote member of until the end.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Robert F. Ruth, and her children, Karl, Ruth, Kathyrn (Ruth) LaBlance, Ruth (Ruth) Jordan, Anna (Ruth) Kessler, Christopher Ruth, Eva (Ruth) McArdle, Mary (Ruth) Higginson, Elizabeth (Ruth) Richter, Robert F. Ruth Jr., Dolores (Ruth) Puckett, Lorraine (Ruth) Runnels, and Andrea (Ruth) Schmidt, along with over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great great-grandchildren.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Andres and Estella Apigo, her daughter Michelle Ruth, and a brother Andy Apigo.
She will always be remember as a devoted, loving wife and mother, and will be fondly remembered by all.
