Paul Osbeck, 69, of Grayling

Paul Osbeck, 69, of Grayling passed away November 22, 2023 at Woodland Hospice stricken with lung cancer. 

Paul was born May 28th, 1954, the son of Roger and Joyce Osbeck. Paul graduated from Ravenna High School. Paul developed immense physical strength and work ethic growing up on the farm in Sullivan Township, Muskegon Co. Subsequently he had various occupations including work at a foundry, Christmas tree plantation, horse racetrack, and the census bureau. Paul also worked as a veterinary assistant and later as a custodian. Paul was a giving, caring man with a servant’s heart. 

Paul was an expert gardener and he developed a variety of corn in cooperation with the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. Paul was an avid history buff possessing an amazing recall of world events. 

Paul married Beverly Flynn, April 11, 1987. Beverly preceded him in 2022. 

Paul was also preceded by father, Roger, and brother Carl.

Paul is survived by mother, Joyce, brothers Neal (Linda), Bruce (Lori), Gary (Jen), step children Tammy, Rick, Deb, Kevin, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, and a great niece. Paul is also survived by good friends Jack Pilon and Ron Lloyd.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am until the time of funeral service at 11:00 am at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 28, 2023. A luncheon will follow until time of interment at Crest View Cemetery in Roscommon, MI at 2:00 pm.
