June Marie Allen, age 92, of Roscommon, died on Wednesday, November 22, 2023, at The Brook of Roscommon.
June was born June 5, 1931, in Roscommon, Michigan, the daughter of Frank Sr. and Elda (Gyde) Bertl.
June worked at the Roscommon State Bank for 22 years, and after her retirement in 1990, worked for Three Lakes Abstract & Title. June enjoyed cooking and sewing. She loved gardening. She very much enjoyed card playing, board games, jigsaw puzzles, and reading. June loved to entertain her friends at The Brook with a game of Rummikub. June loved spending time with her family, especially during the holidays.
June will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her children: Thomas (Connie) Allen of Roscommon, Michael Allen of Roscommon, Linda (Leon) Terrian of Houghton Lake, Andrea (Harold) Weiss of St. Helen, David (Janet) Allen of Midland; grandchildren: Dawn, Christopher, Alan, Kurt, Elyse, David, Nicholas; great-grandchildren: Owen, Evaly, Cohen, Lila, Makayla, Bryce, Stella, Akenzy, Amora; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
June is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Douglas Allen; and her brother, Frank Bertl Jr.
Family and friends will gather from 4:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Service at 6:00 PM, on Thursday, November 30, 2023, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.
