Everett Collins, 67, of Atlanta

Mr. Everett Russel Collins, 67 of Atlanta, Michigan died on October 26, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on April 18, 1956 to the late Odell and Ellen (Melton) Collins. He married his loving wife, Kelly (Cornell) Collins on September 21, 1996 and together the couple celebrated 27 years of marriage before his passing. They have resided in Atlanta for the last 28 years. Everett drove truck for 20+ years and retired from Ryder Logistics. He enjoyed hunting. Most importantly, Everett’s life and happiness revolved around his wife, their children, and grandchildren. His best spent days were with family at his side. He is and will be deeply missed.

Everett is survived by his wife, Kelly Collins of Atlanta; children, Jennifer Collins of Detroit; Stephanie (Jeff) Schultze of Roseville; Brittany (Trever) Friske of Indian River; Nickolas Gross of Atlanta; Chad Collins of Lewiston; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Desirae, Zackery, Olivia, Charlotte, Jeffery, Adelyn, Elliott, baby Kollyns on the way, Isabelle, Paisley, Evangeline, Lucas, Wyatt, and Axel; sister, Cynthia (Ben) Kincer of Kentucky; several half-siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Ellen (Melton) Collins; brother, Robert; and several half-siblings.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place. The family has chosen to remember Everett privately at this time.
