Mr. William “Bill” David Czopek, 56 of Lewiston, Michigan died on November 1, 2023, at his home. He was born in Warren, Michigan to William and Jean (Grabowski) Czopek on September 14, 1967. He served his country proudly serving one tour in Afghanistan with the United States National Guard and one tour in Iraq with the United States Army 82nd Airborne. He married TracyBeth (Doty) Czopek on April 15, 2006, and together the couple celebrated 17 years of marriage before his passing. His hobbies included video games and rebuilding his truck, but most importantly, time spent with his family. Bill is and will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his loving wife, TracyBeth Czopek of Lewiston; children, Kayla (Ricky) Simmons of Clarksville, Tennessee; Sherrie Togerson of Royce City, Texas; Kenneth (Rachel) Fischer of Macomb Township; David (Mariah) Wheeler of Ira Township; parents, William and Jean Czopek of Lewiston; and brother, Michael (Anne) Czopek of Sterling Heights. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
In accordance with his wishes cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial service held in celebration of Bill’s life at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 10, 2023, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church; Fr. Al Pillarelli officiating.
