William S. Isaacson, age 81, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday October 22, 2023 at his home on Jose Lake.
He was born in Negaunee, MI to Wilho Isaacson and Julia Gleason. He started his college career at U of M, completed undergrad at Northern Michigan University, then his masters at Wayne State University. He married his love, Linda Isaacson in 1966. They were married 56 years until her passing last year.
He worked his entire career in the South Lake School District as a science teacher and coached both football and track.
He enjoyed his crossword puzzles, watching football, his time at the cottage/lake home, perfecting his golf game, and especially spending time with his family and grandkids.
He was a loving and generous husband, father and grandfather. We will all miss him every day.
He is survived by his children Stacey Runke, Amy (Steve) Eby, Kevin (Julie) Isaacson; grandchildren Jacob, Luke, Matthew, Samantha, Noah, Emma, Nicholas; and siblings Janet Koller and Martin (Jude) Isaacson.
