Mrs. Linda Darlene Bowers, 64 of Lewiston, Michigan died suddenly on October 12, 2023. She was born in Trenton, Michigan to the late Don and Nancy (Davis) Dowdy on September 29, 1959. She has resided in Lewiston most all her life. Linda was a selfless person often putting others needs before her own. She loved to entertain and tell jokes. She enjoyed baking, cooking, boating, camping, shooting pool as a member of the pool league at Redwood, and riding on her Harley Davidson. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and will be deeply missed by family and friends.
Linda is survived by her children, George (Renae Ballinger) Smith of Waterford; Lauren (Duncan) Carpenter of Traverse City; grandchildren, Jack, Joselynn, Kaleb, and Danica; significant other, Douglas Wilson of Lewiston; siblings, Brian Dowdy; Glenn (Karen) Dowdy; Diane (Joe) Tenbush; and Laura Duval all of Lewiston. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Nancy Dowdy.
Funeral services for Linda will take place at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
