Age 60, of Oscoda, MI, formerly of Weirton, WV passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023. He was born in New Martinsville, WV on May 16, 1963 to the late Walter Eugene and Edith Mae (Kimble) Straight. Lester graduated from Brooke County High School in Brooke County, WV. He retired as a fork lift operator for Cooper Standard after 30 plus years of hard work and dedication. Over the years, Lester enjoyed fishing and tinkering in his yard and garage. He is survived by his sons, Aaron James “AJ” Straight and Matthew Straight; sisters, Sherry Porec and Nora Miller; brother, Raymond (Debi) Straight and nieces and nephews, Trinity, Jacqueline, Miranda, Kayla, Bryan, Michelle, Emma and Adam. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Walter “Butch” Straight, II and nephew, Zachary Straight. The family will welcome friends on Friday, October 27, 2023 from 3 PM until the time of service beginning at 5 PM at Buresh Funeral Home in Oscoda, MI.
