Herman Pertile Jr., 76, from Prescott

Herman Pertile, age 76 from Prescott, MI, formerly from the Metro Detroit area, peacefully passed away at his home on October 15, 2023. Herman was the son of Herman Pertile and Ann Marie Nebuloni. Herman is survived by his two sons, Herman (Carrie) and Tony, and his grandson Steven. After graduating from St. Mary’s of Redford, MI., he enlisted in the Army where he became a Sergeant. Herman then worked his way up to a foreman position during his 25 years of service at Braun Engineering, which later became known as Masco Tech, then Metaldyne. Herman was very skilled at building things and could fix anything. In his later years, Herman enjoyed fishing and volunteering at the Moose Lodge. He spent his final days surrounded by God, family, friends, beer, and football. We should all be so lucky. The family will hold services for Herman at the Buresh Funeral Home in Prescott on Thursday, October 19th, 2023. Visitation will be from 10:00am – 12:00pm. Funeral at 12:00pm.
