Bobby Allen Christian, 77, of Hale, MI, formerly of Mio, MI, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Midland, MI.
Bob was raised in the hills and hallows of West Virginia, and throughout his life his greatest memories were spending time in the mountains. When he was about twenty, he moved to Fenton, Michigan and worked at General Motors. After thirty-two years at GM, Bob retired to live in Mio and more recently, Long Lake. Throughout his life Bob loved to tinker and give new life to something someone else had discarded. He loved His Savior, music, theology, reading, his little buddy, Lucky, and finding a hidden gem in a thrift store. Bob had a great sense of humor and loved to tell stories of his time in the mountains. He was kind, a dear soul, and a friend to all who met him.
Bobby was a member of Mio Baptist Church, UAW Local #659, and was a former member of Faith Church (Linden, MI)

Visitation: Mio Baptist Church – 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM on October 7, 2023 at Mio Baptist Church – 357 Mount Tom Rd. Mio, MI 48647, with Funeral Services beginning at 3:00 PM, with Rev. Glynn McMorris officiating. Interment 1:00 PM Monday, October 9, 2023 at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc, MI.
