Patricia Lee Harris, 84, of Grayling, MI passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2023 at Munson Healthcare, Grayling Hospital.
Patricia was born on March 26, 1939 in Flint, MI to Charles and Lula (Gifford) Major. Patricia married Jesse Harris on January 11, 1958. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, going to the casino, watching the Detroit Tigers, and playing cards (especially when she would win). Patricia had a great sense of humor. She was very family oriented. Patricia’s children’s friends wished she was their mom.
Patricia is survived by her brother, Kenneth Major; sister-in-law, Nancy Major; children, Margaret Smith and Tony (Lorie) Harris; grandchildren, Jessicia Venture and Allyscia (Zack Vanderkarr) Smith; great-granddaughter Aryia Venture; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jesse.
Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2023 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm at Sorenson-Lockwood Funeral Home in Grayling, MI. A luncheon reception will follow the funeral service at the American Legion, 106 S James St, Grayling, MI 49738 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM
