Clifford Rosin, 76, of Gladwin

Clifford J. Rosin, 76, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023. He was born on April 1, 1947, the son of Fred and Olga (Winkler) Rosin in Detroit. On June 1, 1968, he married his high school sweetheart, Barbara Ripley in Garden City.  In 1975, they moved to Gladwin and raised their family. He worked as a Design Sculptor for over 40 years until his retirement. He was a devoted Christian and was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Gladwin. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, riding his tractor, taking walks in the woods, and enjoying the Cedar River. After retirement, he and his wife spent the winter months in Zephyrhills, Florida. His passion was his music, whether it was rocking the drums or playing the guitar. He was a proud and loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed by all that knew him.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 55 years: Barbara Rosin of Gladwin; children: Laura (Brian) Walker of Gladwin and John (Sherry) Rosin of Kalkaska; grandchildren: Brett Walker, Brianna Walker, Liam Rosin, Jenna Rosin, and Joel Rosin; siblings: Nancy Hawkins, Robert (Gloria) Rosin; and Patrick (Jill) Rosin; along with several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepmother: Glynis; brother: Jack Rosin and brother in-law: Bobby Hawkins; and special great nephew, Lucas Felts.

Funeral Services will be conduced by Lynn Morgan on Sunday, September 17, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 3-8:00 P.M. and on Sunday from noon until the time of service.
