April Grace Holtzlander, age 42, of Houghton Lake, passed away peacefully at home, on Wednesday, September 6, 2023.
April was born December 23, 1980, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, the daughter of David Holtzlander and Donna (Sluis) Pepperman.
April had a love for all animals. She enjoyed restoring antique furniture. The family will remember her passion for riding dirt bikes and going boating. April was extremely intelligent, resilient, and adventurous. Most of all, she loved spending every moment she could with her son, Dominic.
April will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her wonderful son, Dominic Adam Summers; loving mother, Donna Pepperman; loving father, David Holtzlander; loving brother, Adam (Sarah) Holtzlander; brother, Michael (Anne) McDonald; sister, Michelle (Mike) McCoy; sister, Denise Maddson; nephew, Drake; nephew, Collin; niece, Kendyl; as well as many other loved ones, cousins, and friends.
April is preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Holtzlander; stepfather, David Pepperman; and nephew, Adam Holtzlander, Jr.
Family and friends will gather from 1:00-3:00 PM until the time of the Memorial Servce at 3:00 PM, on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.
If so desired, the family prefers memorial contributions be made in April’s name to be used for April’s son, Dominic. Please make donations payable to Donna Pepperman.
