Jeff Shue, 66, of Oscoda

Jeffrey A. Shue, age 66, of Oscoda, MI passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2023. Jeff was born on July 17, 1957 in Port Huron, MI to the late Earl and Lauretta Shue (Kolman). He grew up in Armada, MI and moved to Oscoda at 18 years old. Jeff worked for Cell One for many years and later as the night supervisor of security at Old Orchard Park in Oscoda. Throughout this span of years, he also worked as an EMT first responder and even more unselfishly, for 41 years he served as an Oscoda Township Fire Fighter. Jeff enjoyed traveling, camping and boating. “On the pond” of the AuSable River was his favorite place. He most especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Jeff is survived by his life partner Dawn Evans of Oscoda, MI; son Nick (Heather) Shue of Tawas City, MI; sister Kelly Silber of Turner, MI and 17 grandchildren, Sophie, Dan, Earl, Emma, Violet, Grace, Maddilyn, Sam, Molly, David, Micah, Kade, Jaclyn, Raena, Melody, Evelyn and Layla. He is also survived by his 3 nieces, Kassi Walker, Whittney Walker of California and Amanda Walker of Turner, MI. In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brother Dan and great niece Iliana. A celebration of Jeff’s life will take place at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Old Orchard Park Campground in Oscoda, MI. You may offer condolences at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
