Dorothy “Jean” Bentley age 85 passed away peacefully into God’ graces after a brief time in hospice care, on August11, 2023 with the love of her life and loved ones by her side. Jean enjoyed gardening, dancing, reading, birdwatching and was always the brightest smile in the room.
Jean was born July 25, 1938 to George and Dorothy (Stillwagon) Killian of Beaverton, both of whom preceded her in death. She married her Prince Charming, Wayne Bentley of Beaverton August 26,1967.
She is also preceded in death by her sister, Doris Killian and brother Leonard (Sharon) Killian, as well as a grandson, Danl Johnson.
She is survived by many loving individuals including her children, Tom (Candy) Johnson of Gladwin, Ken Johnson of Beaverton, Bill (Pam) Johnson of Gladwin and Arn (Michele) Jensen of Beaverton. She had ten grandchildren which she loved dearly Alan Jacobs of Midland, Jamie (Mark) Reynolds of Gladwin, Danielle (Nathan) Johnson of Grand Rapids, Kenny (Angela) Johnson if Midland, Dustin (Jessica) Johnson of Gladwin, Allison (Jason) Sheehan of Edenville, Jessica (Joel Rheaume) Jensen of Midland, Amber (Kyle) Schiemann of Gladwin, Jason Johnson of Gladwin and Kaitlyn Johnson of Gladwin as well as her brother Lester (Margaret) Killian of Beaverton. She also leaves behind 20 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Arrangement entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
