Charlotte Ann Cluckey, age 84, a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, passed away Friday, July 14th, 2023. She was born in Saginaw, MI to Charles and Anna (Clark) Irish. She married Robert Cluckey Sr. in 1956. They started their family while he served in the United State Air Force in Missouri. They were married for 57 years until Robert’s death in 2013.
Charlotte loved her family fiercely and was a devoted caregiver. She always put others first. Charlotte’s children will remember her at family dinners, card games and doing jigsaw puzzles around the table. She would often be found “slaying dandelions” in her garden.
Charlotte is survived by her children; Robert (Diane) Cluckey Jr. of Munger, MI, Glenn (Cyndi) Cluckey of Ionia, MI, Marshella Hoendervanger of Newaygo, MI, Penny Wyatt of Owosso, MI, Alan Cluckey of National City, MI; brothers, Charles Thomas Irish and James Irish; 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband Robert, she is preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Karen, and Lorraine.
A service will be held at The Kingdom Hall in East Tawas, MI, on Saturday, July 22nd at 1:00 pm. An additional memorial service will be scheduled later. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to donate.jw.org.
