Suzanne Zoli, 80, of St. Helen

Suzanne Irene Zoli, age 80, passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023, at the Horizon Senior Living Center in St. Helen, MI. Suzanne was born on August 6, 1942, in Pontiac, MI to Bruno and Irene (Morris) Niedowicz.

Suzanne was a long-time resident of St. Helen, MI moving from Clawson, MI in the mid 1970’s. She retired from the Richfield Township library in 2005 after 30 years of serving as Librarian. Suzanne also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post #416.

Suzanne was a super smart lady who enjoyed reading, music, and many sports- especially the Detroit Tigers and Lions. She was a lover of all animals and supported many animal charities from the local A.R.K. to the elephants in Africa. She will be especially missed by her current fur baby Miggy.

Suzanne is survived by her Children Laura (Bob) Main of Leonard, MI; Tracey (Walter) Shepherd of Harrison, MI; and James (Leticia) Alexander of Redford, MI. Her stepchildren Lori McCormack, Lisa Dombroski, William Zoli, and Colleen Marable. Her grandchildren Robert, Michael, Rachel, Sarah, James, Nicole, Joshua, Adam, Paige, Alexis, Rory, Quinn, Lochlan, Kelsey, Liam, Melanie, and Erin. Her 2 great grandchildren Sophia, Beckham, and her long-time bonus brother Ralph Lewandowski.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Zoli, brothers Steven, Dennis, James Niedowicz, and grandson Jason Alexander.

A memorial service will be held at a later date this summer and burial will be next to her husband William Zoli at the Fairview Cemetery in St. Helen, MI.

Memorial Contributions can be made to the A.R.K. Association to Rescue Kritters of St. Helen, or your favorite Animal Shelter.
