Robert Allen Hundley, age 87, of Roscommon, died on Friday, June 2, 2023, at his home in the presence and comfort of his family.
Bob was born January 5, 1936, in Tamroy, West Virginia, the son of Holley and Russie (LeMaster) Hundley.
Bob married Mildred Davis on March 22, 1958, in Pontiac, Michigan.
As a hobby, Bob was a musician and loved to play the guitar. Bob loved to build and fix things. He built the home that he and Millie lived in up to his death.
Bob will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his beloved wife, Millie, of over 65 years of marriage; son, Michael Hundley of Prudenville; brothers: Holley (Leona) Hundley, Jr. of Roscommon, James (Norene) Hundley of Waterford, Charles (Sue) Hundley of Hopewell, Virginia; sisters: June (James) Combs, Wavie Chappell of Beckley, West Virginia, Lovie (Jerry) Ruloff of Hopewell, Virginia; sister-in-law, Freda Hundley of Lapeer; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Stanley (Mildred) Hundley, Mason Hundley, Jerry Hundley; sister, Rosie (Sherman) Vealey; brother-in-law, Ernest Chappell.
Family and friends will gather from 11:00 AM until the time of the Funeral at 1:00 PM, on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.
The family prefers memorial contributions be made in Bob’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, Roscommon.
