Gerald J. Weber

Gerald J. Weber, loving husband, father, and dear friend passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023, following a lingering illness. He was born in Saginaw, Michigan on January 15, 1940, to the late Wilbert and Lorna (Schmandt) Weber. He married Kay Howland on June 17, 1961, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Zilwaukee. Jerry retired from Furstenberg Braun Lumber as foreman for numerous years and Health Delivery assisting others to appointments until retirement. Jerry enjoyed traveling south with his wife, parties with his family and friends which also included lots of yard games. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling, and working in the yard. Jerry is a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Standish Michigan.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Kay Weber, son, James Weber, along with several nieces and nephews. Jerry was also survived by several close friends. He was preceded in death by his brother Leroy and sister-in-law, Lois (Harold) Taylor.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home Standish Chapel with Pastor Don Killey presiding. Cremation will follow with inurnment at Pine River Cemetery. Family will greet friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 7, 2023, from 2:00 pm until time of service.
