Lucille (Johnson) Richardson of Hale, MI died at home May 5, 2023, at the age of 88. She was born on June 19, 1934, in Dryden, VA to Alfred and Daisy Johnson.

She married the love of her life whom she called “baby”, James H. Richardson on June 16, 1952. After losing James in 2007, Lucille would hold his picture close to her heart and say, “I want to see my baby”. She could not wait to join him in heaven.

Her favorite bible verse was Matthew 7:12 and her favorite gifts were flowers and “what knots” as she called them. She enjoyed garage selling, working with flowers, and collecting ceramic dolls. She had a big heart and showed it by being a caregiver to whomever was sick. She attended Hale Assembly of God.

Lucille is survived by her daughter Joyce (Mike) Motley; sons, Gordon (Beth) and Bruce; grandchildren, Jim (Janice) Dorman, Tim (Amanda) Dorman, Adrian Richardson, Glenda (Sam) Hardison, Anthony Richardson, Brent (Megan) Richardson; great grandchildren, Samantha (Scott) Sheridan, Cody (Jessica) Dorman, Grant Richardson, Jaqueline Richardson, Barrett Richardson, Piper Richardson, Kiara Hardison; great grandchildren, Madi Dorman, Allison Dorman, and baby on the way.
