Jerry W. Koehn, age 82, formerly of Goodrich, MI passed away peacefully on Thursday May 4th, 2023 at Americana Seniors of Davison. He was born July 2nd, 1940 in Turner, MI.
Jerry graduated from Whittemore-Prescott High School where he met his wife of nearly 62 years, Jane (Fuerst) Koehn. He retired in 1992 from General Motors Grand Blanc plant where he was a transportation supervisor. He enjoyed many hobbies including hunting, fishing, gardening and woodworking. Jerry and Jane wintered in Zephyrhills, Florida for 22 years.
Surviving are his wife Jane and four children; Jeffrey (Mona) Koehn, Janell (Drew) Frakes, Julie (Tim) Kaminski, Jason (Vicki) Koehn, 8 grandchildren; Jeremiah (Katie) Johnson, Heather (Lorenzo) Toia, Justin (Kelly) Koehn, Cortney (Tré) Munson, Whitney Frakes, Josh Kaminski, Jaedyn Koehn and Jake Koehn, 6 great grandchildren, along with siblings Judy (Bruce) Hadd, Jim Koehn, Joe (Linda) Koehn, numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Jerry’s wishes were to be cremated. A private memorial is planned at Whittemore United Methodist Church for family and close friends with Gary Gillings (Jane’s cousin) presiding. If desired, memorials in Jerry’s name may be given to Americana Seniors (432 E Clark St, Davison, MI 48423) or Heart to Heart Hospice of Flint (4438 Oak Bridge Dr., Flint, MI 48532).
