Kenneth Milliron, age 71, passed peacefully in Tawas City, Michigan, on May 23, 2023. Ken was born to the late Marvin Milliron and Geraldine Fletcher on October 19, 1951, in Harrisville, Michigan. He was raised in Oscoda, Michigan, and was a proud graduate of Oscoda High School. In his younger years Ken was known to be a wonderful athlete, especially when it came to competitive swimming. Following high school into his later years, Ken found a passion for several hobbies. He loved to go fishing, be outdoors, work on crossword puzzles or word searches, attend town events such as the local street dances, watch movies, go to the casino, and most importantly spend some quality time with his friends and family. Ken was a well-known member of the community, and he will be remembered by his great sense of humor, his politeness to all, and his genuinely kind nature.
Ken is survived by his sister, Cindy (Rick) Knight; niece, Danielle Henion; nephew, Christopher (Emily) Henion; and several cousins including Don (Paula) Milliron and Dick (Dale) Raber. In addition to his parents Marvin and Geraldine, he is preceded in death by his nephew, Richard Henion.
Per Ken’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family wants to give a big thank you to Mary and the staff at the River Bend Adult Foster Care Home. Whenever Mary came in to look after Ken, she was always greeted with a loving “Here she comes!” Ken adored everyone at the home who took great care of him.
