Bonnie Lee Temple (Peters), age 83 of Lupton, MI., passed away on April 10, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 25, 1940 in South Branch, MI., to the late Sherman and Bernice (Getchel) Peters. On March 18, 1960 she married the love of her life, Laurence Temple. They had 2 daughters, Gwendolyn and Laurilee, and raised their family in the Lupton area.
Bonnie was an avid bowler and enjoyed going to many bowling tournaments with her team, and loved talking about their shenanigans .She also enjoyed golfing and participated in the golf league. Bonnie loved cooking and experimenting with new recipes as well.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Laurence “Butch;” daughters, Gwendolyn Temple-Tierney of West Branch, MI. and Laurilee (Kevin) Hanes of Alger, MI.; brothers, Jerry (Jackie) Peters, Vern (Lil) Peters, Ray (Donna) Peters; sister, Marylou (Floyd) Smith; grandchildren, Jesse’ (Sara) Hanes, Chip (Samantha) Nicholas, Lucas (Amber) Tierney; great-grandchildren, Hailey, Andrew, Emily Tierney, Briana, Logan Tierney, Danny Hanes and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Donna Caverly.
Per Bonnie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
