Lee Prindle, 81, of Houghton Lake

Lee George Prindle, 81, of Houghton Lake passed away peacefully on March 10, 2023.

He was born in Ann Arbor on January 22, 1942, the son of Marlin and Margaret Prindle. He graduated from Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor in 1959. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force. Lee worked as a General Sales Manager, on the west coast, for United Technologies. In 2005, he retired and moved to Houghton Lake.

In his retirement, he spent many years serving his community. He was a beloved member of the Elks for 23 years as a Trustee and Chairman of the Board of Directors. We can thank Lee for the success of the Elks Lodge. He also played a role in the Russ Graham/Matt Grover Thanksgiving dinner and volunteering for Tip Up Town. Lee also enjoyed boating, golfing, target shooting, traveling and snowmobiling with family and friends.

He is survived by his loving Wife, Terri, of 52 years. Daughter, Lisa (Brian Turner) Prindle, and Grandson, Zach; Son, Mike (Amy) Prindle, and Grandson Jake: Son, Steve (Stormy) Prindle; Daughter, Sherry Prindle, and Grandson, Nick Byington.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date, and interment will be held at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly.

In memory of Lee, Memorial Donations can be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association.
