Karolyn Anne Hagerman, 80 of Tawas City, formally of Oscoda, was born on December 30th, 1942. Karolyn came into the lives of her parents Clarence and Marjorie Ingersoll, for whom she took hands with to heaven on February 28th, 2023. She was raised in Clarkston, Michigan where she graduated from Clarkston High School in 1961. Through the years she had the opportunity of working for the Pontiac State Bank and RPI, Inc. of Oscoda, but by far she was a mom to her two children. She enjoyed her hobbies of crafting and crocheting. She also enjoyed her pets. Karolyn also enjoyed her Granddaughter tremendously.
Karolyn is survived by her three brothers, David Ingersoll of Port Saint Lucie, Jeffrey Ingersoll of Florida, and Michael (Paula) Ingersoll of Port Saint Lucie. She is also survived by her two children, Lisa Hagerman of East Tawas, Michigan and Marc (Maxine) Hagerman of Madison, North Carolina, and granddaughter Alyssa Hagerman of Madison, North Carolina, and several nieces, nephews and cousins as well. Karolyn is preceded in death by both her parents, Clarence and Marjorie Ingersoll, and her pets Penny her poodle and Cricket her cat.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will occur later this summer with internment that will take place at the same time at Esmond Evergreen Cemetery in Hale, Michigan. An online registry is available at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com to share condolences and memories of Karolyn.
