Louise ‘Pat’ Luch, 89, of Higgins Lake

Louise Patricia “Pat” (Bodalski) Luch, 89 years of age, and resident of Higgins Lake, entered into eternal life on Saturday, February 18, 2023, at her home in the presence and comfort of her family.

Pat was born August 25, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Joseph and Helen (Cichecki) Bodalski.

Pat married Kenneth Earl Luch (deceased, 2009) on November 8, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan. They we’re married for 57 wonderful years. Pat and Ken were the beloved parents of eight children and grandparents of more than 40 grandchildren.

Pat was a woman of faith who trusted in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, and believed He suffered, died, buried and was resurrected to save us from or sins (John 3:16). On her lips, was thankfulness to her abba Father for every provision.

Pat especially loved all her family. She was a humble servant who generously cared for the less fortunate, including many in foster care homes and mental health facilities.

Pat was known for catching trophy fish on Higgins Lake. She would fill a bucket with pan fish while others re-baited their fishhooks. Her sense of humor was contagious. She always made people laugh and passed that character trait on to her children.

Pat was a champion pinochle card player. It was one of her favorite games. To her competition, Pat had divine help from above since she often presented an unbelievable high scoring last hand to win the game. Expressing a big smiling grin, it was her way of showing who was the champion.

Pat was a prayer warrior. A beautiful woman who loved beyond measure, Pat shined the glory of Jesus wherever present. She entered paradise with the praise of saints and angels and now lives with Jesus in heaven. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will gather from 11:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 PM, on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.
