Jean Ann Dake, age 75, passed away unexpectantly at her home on Thursday, February 2, 2023. She was born in Standish, Michigan to the late Edward. W. and Avis L. (Black) Templin on May 16, 1947. She married Paul D. Dake in Pinconning on May 5, 1990 at the Baptish Church in Pinconning, Michigan. Jean enjoyed fishing, cooking, and baking. Everyone enjoyed her pumpkin roll and Christmas cookies! She retired from Bopp-Bush in Augres, Michigan.
Jean is survived by her husband Paul, son, Kevin Ruse, a grandson, Alex Ruse, and 2 brother’s, Ronald Templin and Gary (Pam) Templin. She is preceded in death by her parents, two sons, Brian Ruse, and Michael Ruse, and a brother, Terry Templin.
Funeral services held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home – Standish Chapel, 127 N. Forest St., Standish, Michigan with Pastor John Tousciuk presiding. Inurnment at Alger Cemetery. Family will greet friends on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, from 01:00-8:00 pm at the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home – Standish Chapel and from 10:00 am until the time of service. The family has entrusted the Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home – Standish Chapel.
