She will be remembered also for her enjoyment of playing Bingo, playing cards, and taking road trips to the Casino.  Barbara loved watching the birds at her feeder, especially the hummingbirds.   Barbara’s precious legacy will live on in the many hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her beloved children, Victor and Bonnye Skornicka of National City, Bob and Landress Skornicka of Bedford, Virginia, Dave and Janice Skornicka of Clio, Donald and Cheryl Skornicka of Ellenton, Florida, Sherry and Randy Alexander of National City, and Linda Roe of Tawas City; 19 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 1 brother and sister in law, Darrel and Arlene Ovaitt; 10 nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene who passed away in 2013; her father and mother, Jay and Helen Ovaitt, son in law Eaugene Roe, and an infant grandson.

A time of visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, February 21, 2023 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the Buresh Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 with Pastor Randy Tiffany officiating.  Barbara will be laid to rest in the Wilber Township Cemetery.
