Marian Phyllis Carson

Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and great great great grandmother went home to be with the Lord on January 25, 2023. Marian passed away peacefully at Huron Woods on hospice, surrounded by some of her loving family at bedside. She was 96 years old. She was predeceased by her husband Roy Wilbur Carson, being married for 30 years, who died in 1972.

Marian lived her final days comfortably supported by many family members and her last few days never alone, cared for by the staff at Huron Woods and her loving daughter in law. Her final few hours and minutes were very peaceful. She was strong, loving, caring, always encouraging, concerned and worried about her family, no matter how far away they lived from her. She was the backbone of the entire family and will always be remembered for her hard work and dedication to her family and faith.

Marian was born on May 29, 1926, in Standish, Michigan to the late Felix and Mary (LaLonde) Brissette. She Married Roy Wilbur Carson on June 15, 1942, and was a homemaker for her husband and 12 children as well as working alongside the family on the farm. She was a member of the Pentecostal Church in Standish, until the time she was no longer able to get out to attend, then moved in with her son then would attend occasionally his church with him. Marian enjoyed her family, church, Christian hymns, reading her bible, sewing, gardening, canning, and helping on the farm when she was able.

Marian leaves behind Doris (Donald) Pate of Pontiac, Judy Hudack of Pontiac, Pamela (Floyd) Keller of Pinconning, Ronald Carson of Linwood, Cynthia Carson of Pinconning, Charles (Lisa) Carson of Rhodes, David Carson of Standish, and Brad (Deborah) Carson of Belleville. She had 21 Grandchildren 37 Great Grandchildren, 22 great-great grandchildren and 1 great great-great grandchildren. Marian was preceded in death by her husband Roy, Daughter Mildred, Sons Larry, Robbie, Steven, two sons in law, Theodore Monroe and Steve Hudack, four sisters and five brothers and three grandchildren, Sarah, Heather, and Jordan.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 30,2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Pinconning Chapel with Rev. Christopher St. John presiding with burial in St. Michael’s Cemetery. Friends and family may visit at the chapel from 11:00 am until time of service.
