Opal Bruner, 84, of Prudenville

Opal E. Bruner, age 84, of Prudenville passed away on Monday December 26, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Opal was born on December 2, 1938 in St. Louis, Michigan to Clifford and Opal (Pratt) Hines. She moved to Prudenville 37 years ago from St. Louis, Michigan. Opal was a member of the Houghton Lake Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles, playing BINGO, scratch off lottery tickets, but most of all loved to go to yard sales, where she always managed to find something that she could use.

Opal is survived by sons; Patrick (Diane) Parris of Houghton Lake Heights, Dennis Parris of Cheboygan, Robert Parris of Gulf Shores, Alabama and Scott (Crystal) Parris of Prudenville, daughters; Shirley (Gary) Buckley of Midland and Opal Parris of Orange Beach, Alabama, daughter-in-law: Lora Parris of Houghton Lake, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren, half sister; Jeanie Jackson of Nunica. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters; Gladys Thompson, Ruth Stoughton and Linda Osborne and brother; Jack Hines.
