Kay Louise Butler, 72, of Luzerne, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 4,
2022. Kay grew up in Houghton Lake, Michigan. She worked as a cook at several local
restaurants over the years and was a homemaker. She enjoyed trips to the casino and
cheering on her grandkids at sporting events. Kay will be dearly missed and always
remembered.
Kay was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Butler, her parents Donald and Donna
Riedel and a special friend, Ron Rhody. Kay is survived by her children, Ken (Ann)
Butler II and Kurtis (Misty) Butler. Grandchildren Nick (Chelsea) Butler, Kiely Craig,
Katelyn Butler, Logan Butler, Chase Butler and Jordan Butler. Great Grandchildren
Remi, Knox, Brantley and Ruari. Siblings, Tom (Connie) Riedel, Diane (Ernie) Corwin,
Rita (Steve) Eash, Gail (Myron) Ingersall, Joyce (Chan) Warren, and Don (Nikki) Riedel.
Kay is also survived by special friends Candy and Will Fox.
A celebration of life will be held in Kay’s honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Kay’s loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautiful life at the Mio Community Center on Thursday December 15, 2022 at 11:00 AM. A luncheon will immediately follow.
