Shirley Ann Waterman, age 79, of Roscommon, died on Thursday, August 11, 2022, in Grayling, in the presence and comfort of her family.
Shirley was born June 27, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Harry and Barbara (Saxton) Beach.
Shirley married Willis Waterman, deceased, on August 26, 1961, in (city, state). Shirley and Bill were married for almost 60 years. Shirley and Bill loved to travel. They would always go on group vacations with all their friends and family. Shirley owned and operated “Talk of the Town” salon since the late 80’s and sold it in 2020. Shirley was a very loving and giving mother and Nana. The family will remember her for loving to be at home and spending time with family. She enjoyed going bowling and golfing.
Shirley will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her children: Willis “Bill” (Bonnie) Waterman of Roscommon, Debbie Seames of Roscommon, and Curt (Jesse) Waterman of Roscommon; grandchildren: Calvin, Aubrey, Caroline, and Jeremiah Waterman, Thomas Seames, Ashley (Trent) Hoffman, Joshua and Kaitlyn Seames, and Mason and Paige Waterman; one great-granddaughter, Renley; sister, Jeannie (Larry) Flick; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill.
Family and friends will gather from 12 Noon until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 PM, on Sunday, August 21, 2022, at Wagner and Walsh Funeral Directors, 143 Lake Street, Roscommon, Michigan 48653.
