Charlotte Marie LaDuke, age 95, passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022, at the Curry House of Cadillac, Michigan surrounded by her family. She was born on September 12, 1926, in Flint, Michigan to the late George and Rita Marie (Dunn) Davey. In her early career she worked as a beautician but retired as a school bus driver after 17 years. Marie was a graduate of Beecher High School. She met and married the love of her life Donald Harold LaDuke and together they were united in marriage on June 28, 1947. He preceded her in death. Marie loved shopping at thrift stores and yard sales, hosting family gatherings, working out in her yard, and attending church at New Beginnings United Methodist Church.
Marie is survived by her children, David LaDuke and Dawn (Gary) McCrimmon; grandchildren, Stephen LaDuke, Jeffery (Brecken) LaDuke, Bethany (Jake) Williams, Jason (Courtney) McCrimmon, and Kerri McCrimmon; great grandchildren, Eva, Hannah, Elijah, Jaelynn, Izzy, Caleb, Joshua, Cole, and Memphis. She is preceded in death by her spouse; her siblings, Calvin (Wilma) Davey and Audrey (Bill) Lawrence.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 7, 2022, at 11 am with Rev. Charles Campbell presiding at Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel, 135 N. Silverleaf St, Gladwin, Michigan 48624. A visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of service on Sunday. Interment in Alger Cemetery is to follow after service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lee-Ramsay Funeral Home-Gladwin Chapel.
