Daniel Paul Allen, age 79 of Hale, Michigan, passed away on May 17, 2022. Daniel was born on July 14, 1942 in Flint, MI., to the late Paul and Lucille (Hanover) Allen.
He was a former resident of Clio, MI., and current resident of Hale, MI. As a young man, Daniel served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. Daniel met and married the love of his life, Barbara Jeanne (Larson) Allen and married her on July 31, 1965.
In Clio, he was one of the past presidents of the Clio Country Club and belonged to the JC’s. Daniel enjoyed golfing, hunting, and card playing. He loved spending time with his family and extended family.
Daniel is survived by his wife, Barbara; son, Daniel Allen Jr.; daughter, Darci J Allen; brother-in-law Kenneth Larson; sister-in-law, Alma (Darrell) McGinnis; sister, Mary Jo (Gordon) Schultz and Judith Harmon; grandchildren, Brooklyn (Brendan) Allen, Michael Daris Allen; many nieces and nephews, along with special (adopted) family who have done so much for the family.
Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Lucille; son, Daris Allen; In-laws, Kenneth and Lila Larson; brother-in-law, Orlin Larson. Per his wishes cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life will take place at their residence in July of 2022.
