Richard Lotarski, 88, of Grant Township

Richard F. Lotarski, age 88, of Grant Township, MI passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his home.

He was born on November 27, 1933 in Detroit, MI to the late John and Marie Lotarski (Novotny).

Richard grew up in Detroit and served in the United State Army. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a tool maker of the Ford Motor Company for over 25 years.

He and his wife Dolores retired to Grant Township and became active members of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hale. Richard enjoyed traveling and spending time with family at hunting camp.

He is survived by his son Ken (Deborah) Lotarski of Tawas City, MI, son Dan Lotarski of Monroe, MI, daughter Renay Lotarski of Southgate, MI, daughter Susan (Mary Pat) Lotarski of MA; 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Richard is also survived by his brother Tom Lotarski of Dearborn Heights, MI and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dolores, son Mike and brother John.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The interment will take place in the Glen Eden Memorial Park in Livonia, MI. You may offer condolences at www.bureshfuneralhomes.com.
