Mary Rose Mason, née Neff, went to be with her Lord on May 20th, 2021. She was surrounded by her loved ones and prayers as she passed. She was a woman of faith her whole life, from her childhood in Comins, MI to her work as a nanny in Monroe, MI, her time with her grandmother in Vanderbilt, MI, and her married life in Gaylord, MI.
She is survived by her husband, Henry Mason III; her children, Katrina Wright (married to William Wright), Henry Mason IV, William Mason, Eric Mason, and Andrea Rigato (married to John Rigato); her beloved grandchildren, Alex and Jessica Wright, John Brink, and Kailey, Melania and Sofia Mason; her siblings, Rebecca Cope, Melinda Neff, and Christopher Neff.
She was preceded in death by her brother William Neff.
Mary was passionate about her Catholic Faith, her family, natural health, and helping people pay only the right amount in taxes and not a dollar more. She collected items, but also collected relationships all over the country and even the world, despite living in Michigan her whole life and having limited travels.
She was so strong and tough as nails. She had a sharp sense of humor and played a wicked game of scrabble. We all miss her but know one day we will be reunited, and we know she is content with her Lord in Heaven.
