Martin “Marty” Donald Helms of Hale, MI passed away peacefully Thursday, March 31, 2022, at home with his loving wife by his side.
Marty was born on November 12, 1959, to Carroll and Emily (Couick) Helms in Marshville, NC. He worked as a meat cutter for many years until moving to Hale, MI with his family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Martin is survived by his wife, Anita; children, Amanda (Peggy) Helms, Matthew Helms and Joshua Helms; sisters, Vicki Medrano, Michelle (Randall) Naylor, and Melissa Medrano; as well as many nieces, great nieces and great nephews.
Marty is preceded in death by his parents.
