Constance Ann (Banaszewski) Bone, age 87, of Houghton Lake passed away on Thursday March 31, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Constance was born on July 13, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Jerome and Bernice (Staszak) Banaszewski. She worked as a RN for many years in the Detroit area. Constance was married on October 22, 1955 in Detroit to Cyril “Bob” Earl Bone. Constance was an active member of St. James Catholic Church, St. James Catholic Church Women’s Club and K of C Women’s Club. She enjoyed making crafts, attending craft shows with her daughter and sewing.
Constance is survived by her loving husband of 66 years; Cyril “Bob” Earl Bone of Houghton Lake, daughter; Michelle (Armand) Collier of Rochester, sons; Kevin (Linda) Bone of Clay Twp., Mark (Linda) Bone of Almont and Brian Bone of Houghton Lake; six grandchildren; Nathan, Nick, Brandon, Garret, Lauren and Jacqueline; four great grandchildren: Lenora, Levi, Riley, Caleb and her sister; Shirley Zumbrunnen of Fraser. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Mass of Christian Burial for Constance A. Bone will be conducted at St. James Catholic Church on Tuesday April 5, 2022 at 12 pm. with Father Bernard Tyler officiating. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 5, 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. James Catholic Church, Houghton Lake. Memorial contributions in memory of Constance are asked to be directed to St James Catholic Church. Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel is serving the family.
