Verneil Burton Hollister, 93, of Twining, MI, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at his home of ninety-one years.
He was born on May 29, 1928 in Twining, MI to the late Charles and Mildred (Townsend) Hollister. He served in the United States Marine Corp for two years where he was stationed in North Carolina.
Verneil was a lifelong farmer. He enjoyed hunting and taking nighttime drives to watch deer with his dog “Blacky”.
He is survived by his nieces, Ethel Baker (Vern) Brooks and Patricia Tucker; and his nephew, Paul Brondstetter.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Chris Hollister. Services will be announced at a future date.
