Robert Samuel Haines, age 52, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at his home in Lupton, MI. He was born on January 12, 1970 in Pontiac, MI to James and Donna (Smith) Haines.
He lived in Lupton since 2014, formerly of Waterford, MI. On October 20, 2018 he married Heather Thompson in Lupton.
Robert was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church ELCA and enjoyed hot rods, Harleys, riding his motorcycle, and music.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Heather Haines; son, Robert M. Haines; daughter, Jayme Haines; step-daughter, Jessica Chrouch; step-son, Jacob Thompson; grandson, Robert J. Haines; sister, Gail Michelini; brothers, Randall Haines, Richard Haines, and Russell (Michelle) Haines; and nieces and nephews, Nicole Wrangler, John Boc, Morgan Haines, Seth Haines, Calah Haines, Yarie Haines, Payton Haines, Mayli Haines, and Abishai Haines.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
The funeral service will be held at Steuernol & McLaren Funeral Home in Rose City on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Nan Dehnke will officiate. Burial will be at Meridian Line Cemetery in Johannesburg, MI in the spring of 2022.
