Helen Marie Lippert, age 102, of Higgins Lake, died on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at The Brook of Roscommon.
Helen was born February 17, 1920, in Grayling, Michigan, the daughter of Oliver and Gladys (O’camb) Coatta.
Helen and the love of her life, husband Paul, had owned Sonoma Lodge on Higgins Lake. Helen was a member of Messiah Lutheran and participated with the Cut-Ups from church. She was an avid seamstress. Helen enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and sewing. She will be remembered for her love of elephants and had quite a collection. Helen was a very hard worker. She was a very successful beautician. Helen’s family loved her dearly, though they will always remember her for being old school stern.
Helen will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her son, Jim (Patsy) Lippert of Higgins Lake; five grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; as well as many friends that loved her.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul; son, Paul.
Helen’s family has chosen to remember her privately at this time.
