Francesca P. Ramirez, age 87, of Roscommon passed away on Saturday March 19, 2022 at Munson Healthcare-Grayling Hospital.
Francesca was born on July 24, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan to Giuseppe and Francesca (Longo) Battaglia. She was married on December 2, 1954 in Detroit, Michigan to Margaro “Mike” Ramirez. Francesca was an Executive Secretary for Chrysler Automotive for many years before retiring. In 1987 the couple moved to the Higgins Lake area from Warren. She was a member of St. Hubert Catholic Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family and dogs.
Francesca is survived by her children; David (Nancy) Ramirez of White Lake, Victor (Minka) Ramirez of Florida, Marcos (Christina) Ramirez of Indiana and Maria (Tom) Johnides of New Hudson, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Margaro “Mike” Ramirez and sister Caroline.
Mass of Christian Burial for Francesca P. Ramirez will be conducted at St. Hubert Catholic Church on Tuesday March 29, 2022 at 11 am with Father Bernard Tyler officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday March 28, 2022 at Christler Funeral Home-Houghton Lake Chapel from 3-7 pm.
