Judy Faye Felske, age 67, of Whittemore, Michigan and Apopka, Florida, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 at home with family by her side.
Judy was born February 12, 1954 in High Point, North Carolina to the late Fred William and Lois Spencer West Nicks. She graduated from Apopka High School and was proud of being a Blue Darter.
Judy loved the beach-her happy place according to her family where she spent many countless hours enjoying the sand, surf, warm Florida sun, and trips to Froggers. Judy loved animals of all kinds especially her dog, Angelina and her Norwegian Elk cat Dexter. “Animals Welcome, People Tolerated” was something she said often.
Judy is survived by her children, William Robert (Jessica) Felske and Lois Anne (Andrew) Felske-Collette; the love of her life, David Hoffman; sister, Sylvia Taylor; grandchildren, Dallas, Hallie, Tyler, Nina, Nathan, Liam, and Ella. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Wendell Felske in 2016 and her other mom; Shirley “Ann” Nicks in 2006.
According to Judy’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of life may be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to Iosco County Animal Shelter in memory of Judy.
