Patrick Albert Doan, age 73, passed away on January 1, 2022 at his home in West Branch, MI. He lived in West Branch since 1992 formerly of Rochester Hills, MI.
Patrick was born on December 17, 1948 in Pontiac, MI to Erwin and Dorine (Pike) Doan.
He graduated from St. Lawrence High School in Utica and went on to receive an associate degree in business from Macomb Community College. Patrick was drafted in the United States Army during Vietnam from 1969-1971. He owned and operated his dental business called Dental Technics.
He enjoyed classic cars, model cards, military memorabilia and was very proud to be a veteran. Patrick loved spending time with his family.
Patrick is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Doan; children, Tayler (Dillion) Palmer, Mary Ashlee (Shawn) Agren, and Christopher (Michelle) Doan; grandchildren, Christina Doan, Cassie Doan, Charlee Palmer, Teagan Agren, Shawn “Brayson” Agren, Cara Doan, Lakey Wilson, and Katie Havens; great grandchildren, Brodie and Tatum; twin brother, Mike (Deborah) Doan; sisters, Barb and Gerry; and sister-in-law, Cheryl Doan.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Jim and sister Betty.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Alive Church in West Branch with veteran honors.
