Linda Yorton-Waite, 70, of Prescott

Linda Lee Yorton-Waite, age 70, of Prescott, Michigan, formerly of Millington, Michigan and Flushing, Michigan passed away Tuesday morning after a long battle with cancer at Covenant Medical Center in Saginaw.

Linda was born January 10,1951 in Flint, Michigan to Eli and Zelpha (Carll) Munsey. Linda was a long-time business owner who in her spare time enjoyed antique collecting, hunting, driving her 1985 Cadilac, her hobby farm, and most of all watching her adoring grandchildren flourish as young adults.

Linda is survived by her loving husband, Shane Waite of Prescott; Sons, Kevin (Jenny) Yorton of Alger, Michigan and Timothy (Jody) Yorton of Prescott, Michigan; Grandchildren, Andrew Yorton, Alex Yorton, Samantha Yorton, Ty Yorton, Brandon (Alissa) Munsey, Beau Munsey, Shannon (Jake) Julliet, Shelby Munsey. Siblings Eli (Laurel) Munsey of Glennie, Michigan Phillip Munsey of Sarasota, Florida, Neal (Pam) Munsey of Prescott, Michigan, And Sister-in-law Angela Munsey of Goodrich, Michigan. Numerous nieces and nephews, and countless friends all of whom will miss her dearly. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her two brothers, Noral Munsey and Nathan Munsey.

Visitation for Linda will take place on her birthday January 10, 2022 from 3-8pm where folks are encouraged to share memories and stories and Tuesday January 11, 2022 from 10-11am at Buresh Funeral Home, 101 East Harrison, Street, Prescott, Michigan.

Funeral ceremony will be held Tuesday morning at the funeral home at 11am with interment to follow at the Mills Township Cemetery in Prescott.
