Mary Kathryn Parr, 57, of Houghton Lake passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City, MI.
Mary was born on November 16, 1964 in Clare, Michigan to Henry and Elman (Monroe) Denlinger. Mary graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1982. Mary was a loving and devoted mother to her 4 children and grandmother to her 18 grandchildren. Mary was married on January 30, 1988 in Houghton Lake to Patrick Parr.
Surviving Mary is her loving husband of 33 years, Patrick Parr of Houghton Lake; daughter, Kourtnie (Joshua) Pitcher of Prosper, MI; three sons, Cameron (Hannah) Parr of Lake City, MI, Cody (Amanda) Parr of Houghton Lake, MI, and Dana (Nichole) White of St. Helen, MI; and devoted friend, Richard Peters. Mary was preceded in death by her father, Henry Albert Denlinger, mother, Elman Nalda Monroe, brother, Alan McGinnis, brother, Jerry Denlinger, lifelong friend, LaDonna Hart; and grandsons, Axle Parr, and Dana White, Jr.
Funeral Services for Mary Kathryn Parr will be conducted at the Houghton Lake Wesleyan Church on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 am with Rev. Bryan Thompson officiating.
